Day 1:

Departure at 6:30 AM aboard the Millennium Falcon from your accommodation or the airport.
Head towards Tozeur.
Cross the Chott El Jerid, the salt lake.
Numerous photo stops along the way.
Lunch at a restaurant in Tozeur.
Visit the oases of Tamerza, Chebika, and the Mides canyon (190 km, 3 hours of travel).
Visit Ong Jmal, Mos Espa, Luke's Igloo, and watch the sunset over Chott El Jerid (Star Wars set).
Return to Tozeur (40 km, 40 minutes of travel).
Dinner and overnight at the 4-star Ksar Rouge hotel or equivalent, or a guesthouse (double rooms).

Day 2:

Departure to Chott El Jerid (Lars Homestead - Episodes II, III, and IV).
Visit Sidi-Bouhel canyon (Star Wars Episode I and IV) (65 km, 1 hour 10 minutes of travel).
Route to Douz (110 km, 1 hour 40 minutes of travel).
Visit the petrified dunes and the palm grove irrigation system in Kébili.
Lunch at a restaurant in Douz.
One-hour camel ride in the white sand dunes of the desert.
Departure to Matmata (100 km, 1 hour 20 minutes of travel).

Day 3:

Lunch at a restaurant in Guermassa.

Day 4: Half-Day

Pickup at 7:30 AM from your accommodation in Djerba.
Departure to Ajim (Mos Eisley - Episode IV, Ben's house).
Visit Sidi Jmour (Anchorhead, Mos Eisley - Episode IV), Mos Eisley, Ajim on the island of Djerba, where Luke and Obi-Wan meet Han Solo and Chewbacca. The exterior of Obi-Wan's house is a mosque, and Chalmun's Cantina, its domed roof, can still be seen. This is where you find Figrin D'an and the Modal Nodes, the band of musicians.
Visit the pottery village of Guellala and have lunch at a fish restaurant.
Return to your accommodation in Djerba in the early afternoon.

Magnificent Tunisia - Star Wars tour and night in the desert
We rented a personalized tour in Tunisia departing from Djerba with “GSA-Voyages- Grand Sahara Aventures”. The experience was truly indescribable. The best was our guide Mahmoud, a cheerful, intelligent person, with a very good background in history (from which we benefited a lot!), attentive and kind, who speaks French perfectly and was always in the best mood. Local and in love with his country and its people, he passed on his culture to us and made us discover places and live experiences that a tourist traveling alone could never have (like lunch with a Berber family and not in a restaurant sightseeing). The best sunsets, aromas, landscapes, markets and foods were recommended to us by him. He respected our schedules, our desires and our wishes at all times. Our driver Hafed was also impeccable, always punctual and in a good mood, he mastered the roads and made us feel 100% safe with him. We did the "Star Wars" tour which was incredible because we were able to visit several natural settings where the saga was filmed, as well as troglodyte houses or old Berber attics where we filmed Anakin and Luke's house. Skywalker. We even slept at Anakin's house as a child! Each day was better than the last as Star Wars sets mixed with visits to other stunning sites in southwest Tunisia. In four days we saw the salt flats, the desert, the canyons, the mountains, the immense oases, and finally the wonderful beaches of Djerba. Every day we enjoyed marvelous landscapes (the full moon in the Sahara desert for example) and above all meeting the locals who are welcoming, friendly, simple and very generous people. The only downside: having to leave and say goodbye to our friends Mahmoud and Hafed. But we will definitely come back!

* Anis, very discreet, who drives his 4x4 wonderfully, always very clean, stops whenever you want for the photo, makes a detour without complaining.
* Mahmoud the guide who always gives good advice, takes you to typical and atypical places, comments on everything he can, always happily answers your questions and does not lack humor
We will keep very good memories of this journey, which will remain one of our best trips.
