PROGRAM OF CAMEL TREK AND NIGHT BIVOUAC IN THE TUNISIAN DESERT

Day 1: From Tunis to Douz via Djerba

07:00: Departure from Tunis airport to Djerba. (On request).

08:00: Arrival in Djerba and transfer to Douz.

10:00: Arrival in Douz, coffee break, and meet the Bedouin guides and their camels.

Morning:

Begin the camel trek with a lunch break after two hours of walking.

Afternoon:

Continue trekking for about 3 hours through the white sand dunes.

Evening:

Set up the bivouac, dinner, evening gathering, and overnight in private tents in the desert.

Day 2: Return to Tunis via Douz and Djerba

Morning:

Breakfast followed by a trek back to Douz (approximately 3 hours).

Midday:

Lunch break on the way, prepared by the camel guides.

14:30: Return to Douz and coffee break.

Afternoon:

Transfer to Djerba and drop-off at the airport around 18:00 for the return flight.

20:15: Return flight to Tunis. (On request).

21:15: Arrival at Tunis airport.

Note: The schedule is approximate and may vary depending on weather conditions, season, and flight schedules.

This two-day adventure offers a complete immersion in the Tunisian desert, with an authentic camel trekking experience and a night under the stars, guided by experienced Bedouins.

Information:
The transfer to reach Douz is done by 4X4, or by microbus depending on the number of participants.

Our vehicles can be equipped with baby seats on request.

You will have one camel per person, children can ride in front of an adult.

You will not have water to wash yourself, bring wet wipes.

There is no network in the desert, make your calls before leaving.

This tour is not open to people with reduced mobility.

HIGHLIGHTS OF TWO DAYS IN THE DESERT

The return on the second day marks the end of this desert escapade, but the trip itself remains an unforgettable memory.

From Douz to Djerba, then back to Tunis, each stage of this adventure is marked by unique experiences, offering a total escape from daily routine and a dive into the hidden treasures of southern Tunisia.

This camel is not simply a journey, it is a celebration of life, nature and the harmony between man and the desert.
