Departure for a visit to Ksar Hadada , the slave quarters of Mos Espa episode 1. (Matmata > Ksar Hadada, 95 km, 2 hours ).
Lunch in a restaurant in Guermassa . (Ksar Hadada > Guermassa, 20 km, 0h20).
Guided tour of the perched village of Chenini (40 mins). (Guermassa > Chenini, 25 km, 0h25 ).

STAR WARS DAY TOUR HIGHLIGHTS

We will pick you up at 6:30 a.m. in front of your place of stay in Zarzis, for your excursion to the planet Tatooine .

Along the way, you will pass through magnificent olive fields as far as the eye can see.

Our first stop will be in Médenine , where you can see the ksar which was used as a setting for certain scenes in the film "The Phantom Menace".

Then we will head to Matmata, famous for its troglodyte houses, and you will visit the Sidi Idriss hotel, which served as the setting for the Lars farm in the film. (Attack of the Clones and A New Hope) .

We will also visit Ksar Hadada , which was used to represent the slave quarters of Mos Espa (in Episode I, "The Phantom Menace").

After lunch in a restaurant in Guermassa , you will continue our exploration with the guided tour of the village of Chenini , where you can discover the outdoor landscapes which served as a backdrop to certain scenes from Star Wars .

Magnificent discovery of Star Wars sets
Magnificent excursion in the Tunisian south to discover the settings of Star Wars. A big thank you to Khaled, our guide and Kiki, our driver for showing us this magnificent region. A big thank you also for your extreme kindness and your welcome! We started our trip from Djerba. On the way to the salt lake before heading towards the sand dunes, Tataouine and the visit of the Ouled Soltane ksar. Then, we went to discover the magnificent village of Chenini perched in the mountains for a one-hour guided tour, with scenes of the outdoor landscapes from Star Wars in the distance. The children loved the magnificent landscapes and the extreme kindness of the people we were able to meet! After lunch, we left towards Ksar Hadada. And to end the day, we visited Ksar Médenine. It was a wonderful day! Absolutely recommended!

Star Wars 1D excursion from Zarzis
My 11-year-old son, a Star Wars fan, dreamed of discovering the filming locations and it was much more than that. A million thanks (Aychek) to Salem our driver and Mahmoud our guide for everything. If you dream of authenticity far from mass tourism, you have come to the right place with GSA. Historical, cultural, economic, cinematographic explanations, etc. Visit to magnificent places, breathtaking views. As a bonus and unplanned, we drove a little in the sand dunes in a 4x4. Unparalleled kindness towards us. I was indisposed upon departure having probably eaten too spicy the day before, no problem for Salem to make a detour to a pharmacy. Mahmoud will prevent you from falling into tourist traps in the places you visit. It was extremely hot (for us) during our excursion and again both ensured that everything went well, especially for Gabriel. The lunch meal was excellent and I can swear you won't be hungry when you leave. There would be so much positive to say that it would be a real novel. Everything was more than perfect, experience it for yourself. Eight days later we still have stars in our eyes thanks to them. One thing is certain, I will come back to Tunisia and I would call on them again. Do the same and you won't regret it! If we could give a sixth star I would put it rather than five.
