SAHARIAN NEW YEAR PROGRAM THREE-DAY TOUR: FROM DOUZ TO KSAR GHILANE
Day 1, December 30: Douz > Tembaine

Departure from your accommodation in Douz.

You will travel by 4x4 across the track and dunes to the Tembaine mountain, where your camp is located.

Enjoy your free time before dinner and spend your first night in a private tent in the vast desert.
Day 2, December 31: Tembaine > Ksar Ghilane > Camp

We head towards the oasis of Ksar Ghilane, where lunch awaits you in a restaurant at the foot of the dunes.

Afterwards, you can visit the oasis, swim in the 32°C hot spring (optional), go for a quad ride (€30/hour), or take a camel ride (€15/hour, payable on site).

You will then continue your journey by 4x4 to a comfortable Saharan camp.

In the evening, after the sunset, you will see a demonstration of bread baking in the sand, followed by a festive dinner to celebrate New Year's Eve.

You will spend the night in a private tent in the desert.
Day 3, January 1: Ksar Ghilane > Matmata > Douz

After breakfast at the camp and a relaxing moment in the desert, we depart for Matmata to visit the troglodyte houses.

Lunch will be with locals in Tamezret, after visiting Matmata and the troglodyte houses.

Finally, we return to Douz, where you will be dropped off at your accommodation.
