Step into the timeless world of the Sahara with a unique full-day adventure from Tozeur.

After a morning transfer to Douz, the gateway to the desert, you'll be welcomed by expert camel handlers for a five-hour ride across breathtaking dunes.

Experience the rhythm of nomadic life, share moments with your guides, and enjoy a traditional lunch cooked in the sand: Tunisian salad, grilled meats, and desert bread.

A soulful journey into silence, tradition and the immensity of the Tunisian Sahara.

CAMEL RIDE PROGRAM DEPARTING FROM TOZEUR

Pick-up at 7:30 a.m. in front of your place of stay in Tozeur and departure for Douz.

Arrival in Douz around 9am.

After a coffee break you will meet your camel drivers and their dromedaries.

Then, it's time for the camel ride, 2 hours immersed in the desert on camels.

For lunch, the camel drivers will prepare a traditional Tunisian meal for you in the desert: A Tunisian salad, grilled meats, and bread baked in the sand.

Return to Douz in the middle of the afternoon, to meet your driver and his vehicle.

Return to Tozeur and drop off around 5:30 p.m. in front of your place of stay.

Information:

Transportation is either by 4x4 or minibus depending on the number of participants.

Our vehicles can be equipped with baby seats on request.

This day tour is not open to people with reduced mobility.
