Day 1: In the Heart of the Desert

Your adventure begins in Tozeur, from where you will leave by 4x4 towards Douz, crossing the fascinating salt lake, Chott El Jérid.

Be surprised by the beauty of the palm grove's irrigation system and the splendor of the petrified dunes.

After a typical lunch in Douz, head to Ksar Ghilane, an oasis bordered by immense ocher sand dunes.

There, choose between an exotic camel ride or a thrilling quad adventure (optional).

Also enjoy a relaxing swim in a 32° hot spring (optional).

The day ends with a unique experience: after dinner, a night in the desert, in a Saharan camp, in private tents, under a starry sky.
Day 2: Return to Origins

After breakfast in the middle of the dunes, and a moment of freedom in this landscape as far as the eye can see, you will leave again towards Douz.

Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before heading to the Sidi Bouhlel Canyon via Chott El Jerid, a stunning panorama of natural beauty.
Your journey ends with a return to Tozeur, where you will be dropped off in front of your place of stay, your head full of magical memories.

This tour is not open to people with reduced mobility.
No telephone network in the desert.

Concerning the equipment, you must include in a bag (this is better for sand):

Your change for the duration of the excursion or tour, a flashlight or headlamp, as well as towels (not provided at the Saharan camp).

For the evening, in winter, bring warm clothes as it can be very cold at this time of year.

If you are cold, for the camp we recommend sports tracksuits for sleeping and if you need to go out at night.

Blankets, pillows and sheets are provided at the camp.
