PROGRAM OF THE CAMEL HIKING AND BIVOUAC IN THE DESERT
Day 1:

Departure at 6:00 AM from Zarzis by 4x4 to Douz.

Coffee break around 10 AM.

Meet your camel team and start the trek.

Lunch in the dunes.
-
Continue walking for 3 more hours to reach the bivouac.

Dinner by the fire and overnight in tents.
Day 2:
-
Breakfast, then trek back toward Douz.
-
Lunch en route.
-
Arrive in Douz at 2:30 PM.

Coffee stop, then return to Zarzis.
Information:
The tour is made by 4X4, or by microbus depending on the number of participants.
Our vehicles can be equipped with baby seats on request.
You will have one camel per person, children can ride in front of an adult.
You will not have water to wash yourself, bring wet wipes.
There is no network in the desert, make your calls before leaving.
This tour is not open to people with reduced mobility.
