FULL PROGRAM – KSAR GHILANE TRIP FROM ZARZIS

06:30 AM – Pick-up from your accommodation in Zarzis.
Departure for Ksar Ghilane (215 km – approx. 3.5-hour drive).
08:00 AM – Coffee break in Médenine.
Short stop to refresh before reaching the desert.
10:00 AM – Arrival at Ksar Ghilane Oasis.
Free time to explore the oasis and relax.

Camel ride: 45 minutes – €15 per person

Quad bike ride: 1 hour – €30 per person per quad

Sahara day trip

AMAZING! So easy to email and set up entire day trip. We had the perfect guide and driver, Maher, to help us through their country. Unforgettable day
We spent an unforgettable day with Khaled and Kiki. Khaled took the time to talk to us about Tunisia, customs, life and it was fascinating. We made several stops to take photos, to chat, to drink tea before arriving at the oasis where we bathed. The spring was hot, it was very pleasant. We rode a camel and saw the desert sand dunes as far as the eye could see, it was magnificent. Then, on Khaled's advice, we went quad biking. It was fantastic. The landscape, the slaloms between the sand dunes, we recommend +++. It was a very good time. We then ate in a very good typical restaurant. Then return via Chenini and the salt lake. We would like to come back to spend 4/5 days in the desert and do a trek. We look forward to seeing Khaled and Kiki again next year. They are two wonderful people, calm and caring. Thank you for your welcome and these moments of sharing. But also thanks to Bruno, who is our contact for reservations and who is very responsive and adapts to all our remote requests.

A change of scenery guaranteed!!
What can I say except that this day trip is complete, enriching and human! Our guide was with us from A to Z: answering our questions about Tunisian life, accompanying us to easily access our quad outing in the desert (an hour of pure happiness) for our camel outing (an hour of walk in the middle of the Sahara) and gave us time for a swim in the hot spring of Ksar Ghilane. A typical meal following all these emotions is served to us with simplicity and authenticity. On the way back, we were able to pass through Tataouine and come across herds of goats with their shepherds. This excursion was carried out expertly and we recommend it 1000%!!!! Thanks to Bruno and his team for allowing us to experience such an adventure at a very competitive price.
