Pick-up at 6:30 a.m. in front of your place of stay and departure for Médenine. (Zarzis > Médenine, 90 km - 1h30).

Visit to the Ksar of Médenine , Star Wars - Episode 1.

Coffee break in Médenine.

Visit to Matmata and the Sidi Idriss hotel (Star Wars, Lars homstead farm). (Médenine > Matmata 65 km, 1h10.

Departure for a visit to Ksar Hadada , the slave quarters of Mos Espa episode 1. (Matmata > Ksar Hadada, 95 km, 2 hours ).

Lunch at the restaurant.

Guided tour of the perched village of Chenini (40 mins). (Ksar Hadada > Chenini, 25 km, 0h25 ).

Visit to Ksar Ouled Soltane, the slave quarters of Mos Espa episode 1. (Chenini > Ksar Ouled Soltane, 40 km, 0h40 ).

Return and drop-off in front of your place of stay. (Ksar Médenine > Zarzis, 73 km, 1h15).

STAR WARS DAY TOUR HIGHLIGHTS

We will pick you up at 6:30 a.m. in front of your place of stay in Zarzis, for your excursion to the planet Tatooine .

Along the way, you will pass through magnificent olive fields as far as the eye can see.

Our first stop will be in Médenine , where you can see the ksar which was used as a setting for certain scenes in the film "The Phantom Menace".

Then we will head to Matmata, famous for its troglodyte houses, and you will visit the Sidi Idriss hotel, which served as the setting for the Lars farm in the film. (Attack of the Clones and A New Hope) .

We will also visit Ksar Hadada , which was used to represent the slave quarters of Mos Espa (in Episode I, "The Phantom Menace").

After lunch at the restaurant, you will continue our exploration with the guided tour of the village of Chenini , where you can discover the outdoor landscapes which served as a backdrop to certain scenes from Star Wars .

You will end your excursion with a visit to Ksar Ouled Soltane , which represents one of the slave districts of Tatooine.

Fun Star Wars Visit with an Amazing Guide and Driver

Star Wars 1D excursion from Zarzis
My 11-year-old son, a Star Wars fan, dreamed of discovering the filming locations and it was much more than that. A million thanks (Aychek) to Salem our driver and Mahmoud our guide for everything. If you dream of authenticity far from mass tourism, you have come to the right place with GSA. Historical, cultural, economic, cinematographic explanations, etc. Visit to magnificent places, breathtaking views. As a bonus and unplanned, we drove a little in the sand dunes in a 4x4. Unparalleled kindness towards us. I was indisposed upon departure having probably eaten too spicy the day before, no problem for Salem to make a detour to a pharmacy. Mahmoud will prevent you from falling into tourist traps in the places you visit. It was extremely hot (for us) during our excursion and again both ensured that everything went well, especially for Gabriel. The lunch meal was excellent and I can swear you won't be hungry when you leave. There would be so much positive to say that it would be a real novel. Everything was more than perfect, experience it for yourself. Eight days later we still have stars in our eyes thanks to them. One thing is certain, I will come back to Tunisia and I would call on them again. Do the same and you won't regret it! If we could give a sixth star I would put it rather than five.
